The smooth lines of the Kouri Bridge, the beautiful Okinawan ocean, and the small islands floating in the ocean add a special accent to the view, making for a spectacular sight. It seems to be a popular spot, and cars were constantly entering and leaving the parking space. If you're lucky with the timing, you can see a tourist boat passing right next to the island heading towards Kouri Island.

I passed many blocks, but it was so beautiful that I took it, and this was Kouri College. A lot of people swimming and playing on Kouri Beach. We also came right in line and had fun. The beach is so beautiful and sleepy. The scenery that unfolds side by side when passing the Kouri Great Hall is truly art. Bullshit!

We passed through this bridge on our way to Kouri Island on a tour bus. It is a 1,960-meter-long bridge that connects Yagaji Island in Nago City and Kouri Island. There is no toll. It is a popular spot for tourists as it offers a spectacular view of Okinawa, and the beautiful emerald green sea that spreads out on both sides of the bridge is very beautiful.

This has to be one of the prettiest spots in Okinawa. I was amazed by the coloration of the water at this location. There is a small parking lot and beach here before going onto the bridge. I walked down to the beach area and then about half way on the bridge and the surrounding waters were gorgeous. The bridge itself is very nice as there is a wide sidewalk on one side, perfect for biking or jogging across. I would love to come here again to snorkel and explore more. This is definitely a popular spot, I assume it can become pretty crowded. This is definitely a beautiful spot and I will be back!

Spectacular view of the surrounding water as I slowly walked the 2.2 km across the bridge to Kouri Island. Walkway is on the left side only as you face north. Could see fish in the crystal clear water. Took a bus back to save energy and time.

Go here on a nice clear sunny day otherwise isn’t worth it. Nice bridge. Once get onto kouri island, stay on the left hand side and drive up the mountain to this awesome peaceful cafe (non obstructed amazing views and has hammocks) which doesn’t really have a name but you can see it from my picture attached. ガジュマルロック copy and paste this name into google maps to find it. Super relaxing and chill. Best cafe went to in Okinawa

South end of bridge has a parking lot to go out and walk around.
North end of the bridge there are multiple parking lots and at least one food shack with indoor / outdoor seating for beers, quick food, and soft serve ice cream.
Along the bridge, there were people night fishing. Zero street lamps, really dark.

Maybe I'm missing something but it's just a nice bridge connecting two islands. I'm glad we had a rental car and could drive to Kouri in a few minutes from our accommodations otherwise it would have been more disappointing. For this to be a top attraction on TA is confusing to me. It's just a bridge and small beach.

Before driving across the bridge, we spent some time to take in the beautiful sight of the bridge along the shore line. It is really nice to see this bridge above the blue water extending all the way to Kouri Island at the other end. Driving along it was another wonderful experience with tranquil scenery, although it was not as long compared to other wider bridges I drove across before.
