We booked direct which gave a ticket discount, and just had a driver take us there. One of the highlights of our time in Bali. Informative, guide had terrific English. The school visit was particularly fun. My kid, 9 year old son, enjoyed all the interactive activities.

One of the best tours imaginable. Dharma was such a kind and knowledgeable guide. The tour gave an authentic and fascinating insight into Balinese culture. The music and dancing is great and the food off the charts delicious!!!

What an amazing day! If you are wanting to learn about Bali’s traditional way of life, this is a must. Our guide Darma provided lots of interesting information about their traditions, farming and family. The visit to the school was a great experience. The children were so adorable and welcoming. We were then given the opportunity to plant rice, make offerings and rice cakes and also witness the traditional method of making coconut milk, coconut oil and coffee powder. There was fruit tasting and also many traditional dishes on offer for lunch. It was all delicious, especially the satay chicken with sambal. It was then topped off with some great music and dancing. Definitely a memorable experience for my family.

This was such a special tour . Learning so much about Balinese life and culture. I have been coming to Bali for 30 years and until this tour really did not know much about Balinese life. Incredibly informative friendly and so much fun. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Bali

It was money well spent. Great introduction to the balinese living and culture. Guides are friendly and he shared with us many things such as how the padi fields are managed as well as how they make local dishes like satay. Overall a great experience that must not be missed.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed this experience, and so did my preteen daughter. The people were very genuine in sharing their culture and the house is so beautiful. There was also food, which was very nice.

An excellent programme for families with young children. A good difference from the usual itinerary when you are in Kuta.

A definite must for anyone visiting Bali. This is one of the trips which my husband and I took during our 11 day stay in Bali and it was by far the best. After visiting the local school and meeting the lovely children, we were welcomed into this traditional Balinese home and were made to feel so at home. What a memorable day!

I would recommend to all to go for it! The family run Taman Anyar really is a very fantastic place to spent a few hours (time: 9.30am - 2pm) as it offers everything about Balinese village life under one roof. We went in a group of 50 so the program was elaborated with a traditional grand welcoming ceremony, introduction to Balinese culture, family homes, family temple, scrumptious lunch under the canopy of trees, a walk through the local crafts making, cooking demonstrations, dessert making, demonstration of paddy planting, and savouring of local fruits, and the entertaining live band of traditional music and traditional dance performances. This is one of the highlight for my 3-day visit to Bali. I highly recommend this visit. For reservation just email: anyartaman@gmail.com OR call 085100606611.

What a pleasure to be so welcomed by the community. We learnt much about Balinese culture and joined in with all sorts of activities during the day. So much value for a budget price - and the money you pay goes back to the village. This day was the highlight of our holiday - and we did a number of day tours.
