They are just around the corner from the sewu waterfalls. So you just need to wander over and have a look. They are small but it’s not about the destination it’s about the journey. And you get to walk up stream and get wet, have some water fall on you. It’s about the experience. So you just gotta go

Ok. Easy access by southern route of Java. Directly connected with Southern Malang. No public transportation. Less than USD 2 for entrance.

2 km walking from parking / ticket spot. Slippery, humid, wet, adventurous during monsoon season.

Warning !! Very steep road with no pavement. My GF was angry because of it.

Happy Holiday..

The cave is just few hundred meters from Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and hence is worth making the trip when u visit Tumpak Sewu. The climb up and down to get to the cave is a bit slippery and hence have to be careful. A small cave with waters inside. Not bad for some photos here

From the bottom of Sewu, it costs $0.50 to wander over to Goa Tetes waterfall. Originally we were going to skip it as photos seemed uninteresting but glad we did, it was really nice. It has little ledges that look perfect for rock climbing but we just looked. We didn't look for the cave

the track were better than Tumpaksewu hiking track. if you visit Tumpaksewu, you better spent another minutes step by on Gua Tetes. just around 500m away then you are already got Gua tetes. Watch your step, on certain area they are so slippery.
if you down trail from TumpakSewu than hike up from Gua Tetes, it is easier than you hike up back through previous track. its because Gua Tetes Track are better well maintained. its already paved and have easier slope
