Second time here
Mar 2019 • Couples
In the tranquile jungle lays this yoga retreat that is run by a crew of yoga experts. Whatever question I have, they have the answer for it.
Words aren’t enough to describe the place, the people and experiences. If you like yoga, and want to deepen your knowledge, this is the place.

Swan delivers the authentic yoga of India
Dec 2018 • Couples
We recently guested at this charming, rustic retreat and had a fabulous time. We learned about many aspects of yoga and practised many of them under the guidance of their knowledgable staff. It was a warm communal experience as people from all over the world mingled and compared their experiences doing meditation, Asana yoga (the classic postures) and Ayurvedic treatments. The food, healthy vegetarian Indian options, was plentiful and delicious. And there were many special treats and surprises throughout the week. If you are interested in a true yoga experience, this is nestled-in-the jungle retreat may be right for you. If you’re looking for Instagram yoga, alcohol and a party, then definitely choose a different place.Namaste!

Beautiful place / not asana classes
Feb 2016
The place is beautiful and peaceful, the food is good and the facilities too.
A little bit noisy during day time from the factory next to it.
My dissapointment is from the Asana classes, at the time I booked the website had wrong information about the asana teachers and their concept of asana classes. Few people complain about it and the website got changed while my stay. Basically, if you are looking for good asana classes, just don't go. Otherwise, the place is very nice.
The owners asked me to choose between staying at Swan or going to Bramhani (local yoga place with very good daily asana classes), which totally ruined my peaceful experience.
But as part of Yoga is about flexibility and letting go... I practised Yoga in Extreme... Which it was a positive challenge.

Swan Yoga – Healthy Activity
Dec 2014 • Family
The founder and the instructor of this place is well-experienced person. I opted for the yoga classes during my visit to Goa. My wife also accompanied me to the daily yoga sessions. We felt fresh spiritual vibes after the yoga sessions and loved the manner in which our guru helped us in boosting our inner spirit.

A true spiritual retreat
I've been training to be a Monk for a few years. In my travel around the country I stopped at sn. Gyanmitra s place here in goa. In him I found the qualities that I seek and work for . His child like joy, his honest and yet assertive communication, his constant smaran (remembrance) of his guru, his energy and his passion for life - all true signs of natural spiritual evolution - which is the goal of yoga . He is a guru bhai I look upto whose integrity and sincerity will surely translate into his work

The place for new beginnings!
Nov 2013 • Solo
So, now’s the time for my review of my stay at Swan Yoga Retreat!
I had a hard time deciding which place to choose in Goa, because there is a lot of yoga- places to choose from, and I was very new to yoga. I went with my gut-feeling, and my God, how happy I am for my choice!
So, I start from the beginning, when I entered the gates of this Garden of Eden. A wonderful green oasis next to the jungle. I was shown to my cottage, a cozy and surprisingly big hut, with a huge tiled bathroom. Everything smelled good and was nice and clean.
I was blessed with a wonderful yoga-teacher which also is the founder of Swan Yogaretreat, the swami Gyanmitra. He’s an amazing warm, wise and loving man. I felt in the best hands I could be! With patience, I was taught the principles of yoga. At Swan you get the whole package of yoga! Meditation, assanas, pranayama (breathing exercises), yoga nidra (deep relaxation), detoxing and more. There were other students there as well, with many years of experience in yoga, but we all got exactly what we needed. They have several kinds of special and wonderful treatments they offer to those who might need it. But I think, the thing that will stick to my heart forever, is that feeling of coming Home to Swan!! They are all bending backwards for you to feel home and relaxed. The co-founder Shivendra, also was there, always nice and helpful, with his warm smile. Open for a nice chat, good advises and explanations. I was full of questions about this new lifestyle, and this was very helpful for me  No question was too dumb to be taken seriously, and I always got a good answer.
Every day , wonderful ayurvedic/ vegetarian food was served, to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The amazing chef Mokesh made this trip also to be a splendid culinaric experience!
In the afternoon, I was free to do whatever I wanted. Sometimes I used the opportunity to explore Goa, with all the wonderful beaches and villages. I found it perfect, not to live in middle of this western lifestyle, as I consider the beachlife with all the tourists to be, but rather take small trips to different places now and then.
I can highly recommend this place to ANYONE who want to explore the yogic way of living! You will get to know some AMAZING people at the same time!! I’ve already started to save up money for my next trip  The sooner, the better!!

Relaxing, Charming and Yummy
Oct 2013 • Couples
Our stay was wonderful. Although my husband does not regularly do yoga, Daya assured us that he could go at his pace. And it was true...From the morning meditations to the special techniques and the delicious food it was a perfect blend of relaxation, spirituality and regular practice. ANYONE at ANY LEVEL can enjoy Swan Yoga Retreat.

The food was delicious and I especially loved the treats that were prepared for a few people as they were leaving.

The staff try very hard to include the guests as part of the family and to include them everyday rituals and events.
