Queensland is a great spot for family fun. The road along the shore has been rebuilt and there is lots of parking space these days. A bit of surfing is possible with no serious undertow involved. Clean sand and a short drive from the Halifax....More

Warmest water I've experienced at Queensland in years. Great surf. Lots of seaweed. Sandy bottom. No jelly fish. Water gets deep quickly - you can actually swim at this beach. One of our family's favourites.

Went on a hot day in July. It was busy but not overwhelming... small enough that you don't have to worry about the kids wandering too far.

Water takes some getting used to but the kids play endlessly. Nice sand. Great parking. Fun people watching. G strings to Burkas. We had some enjoyable timeouts from our daily schedule.

This is a fantastic beach but can be very crowded during the summer. Go early to get a good parking space!

Five of us went to Queensland Beach Provincial Park on a warm and sunny September day. It was crowded but we were able to find a parking space and a spot on the beach.

Definitely get here early or towels will be joined together, the water is cool around 16 degrees but nice on a sunny day. Sand is nice and the sound of the small waves relaxing. Lifeguards are on duty and there is a small outhouse and...More
