Impressive wonder of nature

Cool your feet in the cold streem running through the Gorges du Dades and be amazed of the size of things. Challenge: try to get the foot and the top of the Gorge on 1 photo...

Make sure you travel right to the top of the road. There is a local market on Saturdays and local cafes to take in the views. Buy fresh eggs and ask the café owner to rustle up a herb omelette.

I was interested in some authentic experience, not a regular guided trip. Then I found Ilias website and fell in love with his mountain and desert trips. He is a very nice person and a skilled guide. He took us to a cave in the Atlas Mountain. We did some trekking and climbing to get there. It was an amazing... More

Exploring the gorgeus Dades Valley with Berber Nomad Trekking was totally last minute decision, but I only regret we could not stay longer than 2 days. We went on a trekking trip through canyon, visited nomad family, enjoyed in peaceful and magnificent scenery, ate delicious home cooked food and discussed Berber culture and history - all in company of a... I don't usually recommend places to go to other travelers because I believe that following your intuition and not having a fixed plan is an important part of the adventure. But I really had the BEST TIME EVER with Ilias and if you're going to stay with him adventures are guaranteed anyway. So I stayed with Ilias for 6 days... More

I didn't expect to see such colours here. The gorge was absolutely stunning, eventhough al lot of plants and trees were washed away a few years ago due to heavy rainfall. We only drove throught here with a few stops, but I want to come back for hiking and climbing, which I heard is the perfect place for susch activities.

The Dades Gorge was one of our favorite places in Morocco. It is beautiful and there are many opportunities for walking. We often just walked out our door. We had come from the Todra Gorge which was really a disappointment and packed with package tourists taking photos. Go here instead of Todra if you have to choose!

I joined with friends the Mountain Experience: Dades Valley, Roses Valley, Gorge Todgha Reached small villages surrounded by gardens where ancient kasbahs cling, then followed again the nomads’ paths. I liked this trip because it gave me the opportunity to discover nature and and exchange with people and local knowledge. We slept in the caves where a nomad family lives.... More

Beautiful natural scenery worth the trip to see the rock formations and this very deep gorges. Breath taking when you arrive at the top and see the bottom .

A must visit when in Morocco. The views are just stunning and the roads on a motorcycle a real pleasure. Really breathtaking!
