Quite an odd place, could be nice in summer? (We visited in January)
Jan 2019 • Couples
We fell over Playa de Vallehermoso quite by chance. We were doing a really tough (almost 5 hours) walk from Vallehermoso, down the valley then a ridiculously steep climbu p the mountain from the beach. The Playa looks as though the beach and pool might be really buzzy in the summer but in January it is all closed up and there were just a couple of very indifferent vans selling beer etc. The beer was nice though!

Walk through the palms to the beach
Feb 2018 • Couples
Take the road closest to the bus stop, and after a while look for a path down to the valley bottom from where you can wander through the palms for about a mile to a pebbly beach with parasols.Charming.

Ruff waves and cosy pool
Jul 2017 • Family
The waves at the beach are quite ruff and the tide strong but you can chill at the saltwater pool and enjoy the view. There are two pools one for toddlers and one for adults and families.

At the restaurant you can order tasty local dishes. It's far from being overpriced.

It's also the start for walking tours to the playa de la sepultura for example.

You can see the old shipping station and formerly theme park, which is closed now because of the destroyed road.

Beware at Monday the restaurant and the pools are closed.
