Amazing sky without light pollution. Great professionalists from Volcano Life, with passion, knowledge and very supportive by astrophotography. I'll never forget that night. Andrew from Poland :-D

Perfect 5-hour hike, 2 wonderful guides, motivated group of 9, much better than using the cable car, highly recommendable walk to the highest summit of Spain / the third highest volcano in the world !! Stunning scenery. Good walking shoes necessary.

the price for this event is too expensive. The explantation of the german guide is poor. we did not see jupiter on the telescope because the line was very long and the organisators did not push the others to hurry up. The atmosphere was nice.

Hi, Sorry about the late answer. If your tour includes watching the sunset up Mt. Teide we highly recommend warm clothes as temperatures at that hour of the day might drop considerably. I hope you enjoy your tour. See you... More

Still worth a visit without a permit to access the top? (1 Replies)
Hi, unfortunately I am doing some very last minute planning and recently learned that access to the top of Teide National Park is completely booked up until Jan. 25th (according to https://www.reservasparquesnacionales.es/). I will be in Tenerife from Jan. 6th to Jan 10th and was hoping to take a cable car to the top of this Park on Jan. 8th. I have also booked a trip to Teide National Park through Volcano Life Experience for 3 for 50 euros. I have been informed by an employee of this company...More

Hi, yes. The national park takes in the original crater, 22 miles across. Mt. Tiede rises from this crater. Assuming the excursion coach stops at the visitor center, you will be able to walk to various viewing points observing the moon like landscape. A number of major movies have been filmed in the crater, it was also used by NASA to test their moon buggy. So well worth a visit.
