What a lovely park, huge in size with three lakes - it would take you a good few hours to walk the whole park but I took in only a small park of the park , via the main house where you can walk through the courtyard and look down on one of the lakes.
It was a beautiful day - plenty of parking and many visitors.
A really nice day to get out of the city and explore - dogs are welcome.

The castle is wondrous outside, and, as many castles in Czekh Republic and in Europe is layer upon layer of history and styles – from Gothic to Renaissance. The interiors are, however, offices, so nothing to visit there except the restaurant and café (which is really nice and recommended). The little old gothic chapel is very interesting, too and worthwhile to visit also inside, however, it is out of limits for ordinary tourists. If you are passing Pruhonice, it is very much advised to spend several hours in this charming place.

This castle though not the biggest, is definitely one of the prettiest that I have seen. It makes you feel like in a disney movie! And ofcourse, the pruhonice park that is behind the castle is worth the detour!

Fabulos castle, smaller then most of others, but very beautiful, very romantic. Must see if you have time.
And park is extraordinary, peaceful. You can walk around, three different routs exists. We took a blue one, the shortest, and we saw two roe deers. Trully nature is all around you.
Unfortunately, the castle wasn't open for visitors.
Entry tickets are not expencive also as parking in front of the castle.

Průhonice Castle is located in the Průhonice Park. It forms a beautiful backdrop to this unique park, which is a National Cultural Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The view of the castle is very romantic and is located in many vistas from the park. By the way, it is for the long vistas, unique compositions and rich collection of plants that the park is world famous.
The ground floor of the castle is open to the public. You can find there the Visitor Centre, an art gallery, an exhibition on the history of the park and its founders, and an educational exhibition Botanical Stories for young and old explorers.
On the first floor of the castle is a conference center where weddings, conferences, etc. are held.
Part of the castle is the Small Courtyard, from where there is a beautiful view across the Podzámecký Pond to the park.

It doesn't matter what is the reason for your visit, this place will never let you down. The amount of work going into this wonderland is stunning. You can just walk and walk and admire all the wonders of nature.

Totally beautiful place to visit. So much area to cover and fantastic tree specimens. Dogs are even allowed as long as you clean up - you get a paper bag at the gate. My dog let me down one day so bring extras! The coffee shops is excellent too . I walked here in all seasons and loved it. Amazing buildings and so well maintained. Loved it.

Nice place for a family trip. The castle is nothing special but the garden with lot of trees and water is amazing. ideal for short walking with kids.
