If it's a comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings and a warm welcome and the best breakfast in the whole area, Dall Lodge is your best bet. We stay here every year and are never disappointed.

We went there for the firework display. Whilst the grounds and the building are spectacular, the display was lacking. It would have been better with music or bigger fireworks.More

Visited briefly as part of Midlothian Doors Open Day. The enthusiasm the Dundas family have for the lovely and historic home is infectious. Family have a great insight into the lives of some of the key players in 'real' Scottish history. Truly a gem of...More

The property and the drive to the house are memorabe. This is a well preserved home that gives every appearance of really being lived in. The owners even show you around. No pretentiousness here.
