Can't compare to most walled fortified villages in this part of Italy. It obviously does not cater to the tourist crowd as we found it to be somewhat unkempt, lacking any historical charm and absent any dining places. A short 15 minute walk through does...More

What a location and what a town. Very clean and if you are lucky enough to go on the Domini Christi weekend be prepared for a street art display among other things. Amazing views coupled with all of that. Very compact

It's a nice little village but nothing special considering in a few kms you can visit amazing places like civita di bagnoregio etc. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you tumble across it.... It's not bad!

A classic hill top village, great for a stroll around. Several options for refreshments. Visit the nearby etruscan cave dwellings with stunning views over the ravines.

Vitorchiano for us is one of the most beautiful and preserved village of the Tuscia, together with Bagnaia. Coming from Tarquinia on the way to Montefalco we've decided to make a detour and have a short break. The town walls are very impressive, the towers...More

We visited Vitorchiano in August. We were staying in Umbria and some friends from Rome recommended paying a visit here. There is so much history in this village it is bursting out, from the Moan statue, oddly located in a car park, to the witches...More
