The hotel is located on a beautiful, small beach next to the large Pattaya Beach. The beach is not private, but the few holidaymakers who come to the beach lie to the side.
The blue beach bags with umbrellas are reserved for hotel guests and are free of charge.
We always had a delicious meal in the restaurant.
The bungalows have been newly renovated inside. Very simple... bathroom without a door and no air conditioning. But this didn't bother us at all, as we were rewarded with this beautiful piece of earth.
For us, the most magical beach on the island. Small, green, quiet, clean with white sand, perfect for snorkeling

When I arrived here in 2024 I stood 5 minutes standing to capture all this surrounding beauty of Sanom beach , welcomed by the friendly and super professional Mariona , Spanish from Barcelona but with influence from the whole world , because I think that speaks the language of everyone , Spanish , Portuguese , French , English and even Thai , whoever comes here gets delivered to this top professional .
The water of the shanon a turquoise blue that merges in a green reflected by the corals , with its warm water and sand so white and thin that it reminds me of a powder of talc from the children , here breathe if the tranquility , peace , the extraordinary beauty that is small beach transmits us , to recover a year from the madness of day to day , and in the hope of for the year 2026 to return again !!!
Here you can hear and observe all kinds of incredible birds , monkeys that don't bother , by the way there is a plaque on the beach with the inscription " please don't feed the monkeys "
At this time it is almost lunchtime and I'm already thinking about the pleasant lunch I'm going to piss and at the end eat my chia pudding with coconut milk , mango and honey !
Obviously this is and will be my annual holiday destination.
Thank you Mariona and the whole team!!

Most paradise beaches in SE Asia are tourist hell by now, and you can’t get a break and just enjoy a sweet sandy paradise beach. But not this one. Little hidden pearl and too difficult to find makes it heaven to enjoy and relax in all day!

I would like to give an honest opinion following all the rave reviews that I have just read. Because as the last one dates from 2019 (weird I don't understand), unfortunately the situation seems to have changed a lot since then.
Certainly the beach is exceptional, it took my breath away when I got there. The beach of my dreams.
But the moment is quickly spoiled by the incessant comings and goings of the long boats which pollute and make infernal noise. Most of them also have unbridled engines! A ring road during rush hours. I'm not exaggerating, come and see. This literally breaks our ears. By the end of the afternoon we couldn't take it anymore. Impossible to stay several days here. It's the same problem all over the island. What a shame, such a beautiful island massacred by Thais who prefer economic interest to the preservation of nature.

One of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever visited ruined by the Italian hotel/cafe owner… who thinks she owns the beach! There is virtually no shade because ‘her guests’ have priority to all of the shaded areas, although the beach is
not private.
My solo travel around Thailand was fabulous but totally spoilt by this unpleasant European…
A kind person would never ever ‘order’ you out of the shade into the blazing sun.

This secluded beach is only accessible by boat, kayak,or a short walk on a plank walkway.
The water is limpid, slow sloped, has beautiful fine white sand and rocks with a great variety of fish.
Further west, you can also access two smaller" secret beaches" , great for snorkeling.
Please don't spoil these places with your fag ends, picnic left overs,or bottles!
There are very few places like this in the world...
It is a calm, very low key beach with a moderate amount of swimmers, no music or screaming babies.
There's an option for drinks and snacks at the beach, and sun loungers to rent.

There is a boardwalk to this beach which seems private. But to my knowledge beachfront cannot be blocked by private owners. There is an accomodation here which run a small restaurant. Beach is very secluded and private. Though not as clean as rubbishes are washed up here with not attention from the accomodation owner.

It's perfect for snorkel. about 20 meters from the shore, you can find 1-2 mini island, where we saw starfishes pink, and blue, clownfishes, many giant clams, sea urchins.

This small beach can be reached overland or by taking the boardwalk that starts at the end of pattaya beach. ( West side )
We were there during green season, and at that day we were the only ones there ( and some thai people who were working on improving the small hotel there )
Visibility underwater was poor that day, but green season and a storm had a part in that I guess. Still not the best beach to go snorkeling. Just one sort of coral visible and not a whole lot of fish diversity.

stumbled upon Sanom Beach while walking to Lipe View Point. It's an uphill walk from Walking Street (inland, about 1km) and there's a signage for you to turn left. if you're not planning to hike, access is available from Pattaya Beach. bring lots of water as the sun could be painfully hot. you may plan this along with a visit to the cliff for sunset.
