About Marettimo Diving Center
We manage our diving in a familiar way. Usually we have groups of 5 to 6 divers for each dive and we like to have a close relationship with our clients that can rely on us to book transfer buses from and to the airports and for the inshore accommodation. We offer complete assistance. We select few places to stay and rest, from apartments to single rooms. At the time of booking we will take care of your needs and we will give you the best place you ask to meet your requirements. As soon as you arrive, after you complete accommodation formalities, we will give you all dives and boat details. The best way to spend a vacation on a little Island like “Marettimo” is to experience it from the water, on a good and confortable boat from where you can easily see and explore little coves, gulfs, small places between rocks with small sandy and rocky beaches and vertical walls falling into the sea. This is not only a divers place but it will be an unforgettable moment for anybody likes and appreciates a vacation like this. My proposal here is to stay on the Boat “Martina”all day long coming back in the afternoon to have a nice dinner at the village and rest onshore. My Diving center is On the boat. Gears, cylinders and Suits stay on the boat. You can easily reach my “diving” after breakfast with your bath towel and something to eat, it really is that easy! All the day out in the sea and later, in the afternoon back at the village, without any hard work below the hot summer sun. No need to load and unload the boat under the sun, no small and unstable boats or Ribs, no lines and no waiting on the pier while wearing your diving suit , you’ll have only sea, sun and shadow if you wish, baths and marvellous dives.

If you like diving, it's very simple: you cannot get wrong with Fabio! He's funny, helpful and very competent down the sea. Big knowledge of Marettimo, I've always felt safe. We'll come back next year! Riccardo

We learnt our first open water course here with Fabio the owner. Could not ask for more good things. Compressor on the boat so no need to ever head back to land for more air. Beautiful seas and wildlife in what is actually a nature reserve island. Something for every level of diver. Everyone on in the local area seems to recommend Fabio and his dive school as the first point of call for divers! If you are diving in Sicily, do it with FABIO! Marettimo water is much clearer viability than Trapani's (we dived in both) it also has much better wildlife and the island itself is something to behold! We found out about it on u.k T.V and Fabio himself is on some Italian diving TV shows! So you know you are diving with the best!

I went to Marettimo in late July 2014 for a week. Since the beginning I was well impressed from the great hospitality, the fantastic food and the astonishing nature all around. But the very best sensations I leaved on the Martina Boat with diving instructor Fabio Tedone. He is extremely professional on board, reliable and available at all time to go the extra mile for all the divers, that feel as being his friends since the first day. Under water he is a fish, and has a special eye to show you all kind of surprising creatures you wouldn't notice with other "normal" dive masters. Fabio is the one that discovers most diving sites in Marettimo where he started 20 years ago, and the oldest diving center on the island. With him you really feel special on board and under water, and the experience is kind of unique! Safety is a priority at all times... I

We spent a lovely week in Marettimo, a very small island where the cars aren't allowed, it's so small you don't need a car, just your feet. Even if I prefer the mountain, I've to admit that Marettimo is a special place, the sea is breathtaking. I don't like diving, but I love swimming and that is the perfect place. You cannot miss a "granita" at the "Cafè tramontana", or an excellent fish' plate in one of the 3 or 4 restaurant of the island. They also make an excellent pizza. Here you can eat excellent food and rent an apartment (usually ex fisherman's houses), fully equipped, for about 35 € per person per night. In Marettimo there is a wonderful nature and you "must" taste the thyme honey or the lobster soup, this last one is a typical dish. Enjoy your holiday.
