Fabulous morning learning how to felt autumnal pumpkins. Lovely host ,in a quaint studio taking you step by step through the process. Lots of guidance and support in addition to tea and coffee and more importantly chocolate biscuits! Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Great course in the lovely setting in Hassocks. Sarah was funny and patient as always and explained the technique clearly. Plenty of space and good equipment available and regular offers of hot drinks and chocolate biscuits. Highly recommend

I so enjoyed my morning at Made and Making. I took my Mum's old sewing machine. When I arrived, I couldn't switch it on. When I left, I took a cushion cover that I'd made! I even knew how to make a button hole. I felt really confident and Sarah took plenty of time to explain my old Brother machine. I'm definitely going to make more, and also go back to attempt a dress. They were such a lovely friendly bunch - plenty of tea and biscuits - with various projects underway. I felt like I'd like to go every day :-)

Sarah is an amazing tutor - I did a crochet course on 31st Oct and loved it. Great fun, a lovely group, very well organised and excellent value for money. Thanks Sarah! I really enjoyed the crochet course for beginners today. Sarah is very patient and explains everything really well. It felt very friendly and the environment is full of beautiful crafty things - so very inspiring. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new or to expand on their existing knowledge. The coffee and Kit Kat helped with the concentrating too!!

Had a wonderfully creative and enjoyable introduction to lino cut printing, with Sue Collins. Haven’t tried this since school. It was great fun, Sue is very engaging and I’m very pleased with everything I’ve brought home.

I love Made & Making and get there as often as I can. However when I can't for various personal reasons, there is MID WEEK MAKES twice a year. First in the spring and again before Christmas. MWM consists of a series of crafty projects set up and led by Sarah, the owner, one craft for one hour each week. Different crafts each week and even if you've never done it before, it will be easy enough for you to follow instruction from Sarah. One step at a time. All materials are supplied, you might need a pair of scissors but not much more. It is all done on line, and best bit of all, it's recorded so even if life gets in the way of you doing the live session, you can follow it up the the next day and for as long as you like from the recorded version. Stop and start and if you have a question, that isn't asked already by someone else, Sarah is only a phone call away. Give it whirl in the new year, I understand details are on the website . If you can't get to Hassocks, this is definitely the next best thing.

Spent a lovely afternoon learning to crochet. It's such a welcoming space with lots of crocheted items to give us all some inspiration. Sarah was a calm and patient teacher and I came away feeling confident that with practice I will be able to make progress. I will definitely look to booking more courses, it was so good to get away from the usual daily distractions for a few hours and learn something new.

Absolutely excellent. Sarah is a great teacher as she is incredibly patient. I really enjoyed the fun and relaxing time whilst finally learning how to do a granny square. Thank you very much Sarah. 😊
