Even during these covid times and rather unpleasant weather, the staff and crew were friendly and efficient. We didn't see the best of the broads due to the weather but the commentator made the best of it under the circumstances. Would certainly do it again, perhaps in the summer and after covid.

We visited the Norfolk Broads as part of our holiday to Norfolk during the October half term holiday having always wanted to visit a part of the country we had never explored before. We thought that a boat trip would be able to give us a flavour of the highlights of the Broads and we booked the trip by phone with Broads Tours, and the booking process was easy and the staff really pleasant. Due to Covid they were selling seats in blocks and we paid only for my wife and I and our sons were free. We had two seats together in the covered outdoor area. On arrival the offices and boatyard of Broads Tours were easy to find on the riverside in Wroxham and it was a short walk to the town of Hoveton over the bridge for food and drink. There were very good facilities to wait for the boat and the staff were quick at loading the boat. Our boat Belle of the Broads was spotlessly clean and comfortable and it was a shame it was raining very fast but had a lovely couple of hours cruising Wroxham and Salhouse Broad. The skipper was giving some great commentary on the broads, their history and wildlife and points of interest. He said his mic was quiet due to a technical error. The skipper gave us plenty of time for photos and we saw lots of wildlife on the way including a heron, great crested grebe and kingfisher! My sons aged 5 and 1 enjoyed looking out of the window and showing us what they could see. The staff were great with them and telling them about what they could see. I would definitely go back it was a lovely afternoon despite the rain and the pay and display parking charges were reasonable.

We’d never been on The Broads before so decided to try an organised trip. We parked in the pay and display car park before deciding to book with Broads Tours. The lady we booked with was really helpful and was also able to extend our car park ticket which made things easy. We chose a 90 minute trip which cost £28 for 3 of us, which we thought was very reasonably priced. COVID safety was taken seriously and we were required to wear a mask for the duration of the trip, a nuisance but completely understandable. Our skipper was very knowledgeable and we saw way more than if we’d ventured out on our own. That said this taster gave us the appetite to do just that next time.

Relaxing and informative trip for almost 2 hours. Staff very friendly and efficient, the commentary was interesting and obviously the skipper had been researching not only the wildlife but the house owners of the properties we passed. we will return for a second visit.

A lovely couple of hours chugging along the river byways, despite the rain it was simply lovely, quiet quiet and perfectly relaxing. Special mention to the staff who were welcoming, friendly and very efficient.
