We had the opportunity to visit this beautiful winery in our way to Vina del Mar and it was a wonderful experience, our tour guy did a great job explaining and showing all the wine process and the incredible grounds. This is a way better experience compare with Concha & Toro winery. Thank you Indomita for your great service.

I do not typically take the time to post something negative, but in this case, I needed to. The views and the setting of Vina Indomita were breathtaking. That cannot be denied. However, when we arrived, the staff was very unfriendly, telling us we could not do a tasting at the time. I asked if we waited if we would be able to do one, and they begrudgingly agreed. We paid for the ultra premium tasting - the most expensive of the three options. We were rushed through our tasting. In fact, the gentleman looked at his cell phone three times while he was talking to us, and barely took the time to describe the wines. It was very disappointing. He actually asked us to tell any people coming in that they close at 6. It was 5:30 at that point. If you are open unilt 6, you shouldn't be rude to people come come around 5. I would not waste my time here - go to Vina Casas del Bosque - it's beautiful, the wines are much better than Indomita's (in my opinion), the tasting experience was first class, and the restaurant there is exquisite!

Great view, with a good vantage point on a hill overlooking the rest of the valley. The restaurant food was amazing! The wine tasting is affordable (1,000 - 2,000 CLP per glass), but the wines are just average. This seems to be a mass market winery. Recommended for the view, not for the wines.

The staff receives me like a long-time friend. They were all easygoing, friendly and positive people ready to help me with my doubts. I went there with a friend and we had a great time. The guide Rafael was funny and told us many facts about the wines in a way that was very interesting and entertaining at the same time. We enjoyed a lot the tasting experience that consisted of trying some local varieties used to make some red and white wines, young and aged wines. The landscapes are awesome and the view from the top of the winery towards the casa Blanca valley is unique. I totally recommend visiting this winery. Be ready to take pictures of the landscapes and the installations. All the best guys and good luck.

We stopped here for lunch and were able to sit out in their patio. It was a great view looking out over the vineyards. After lunch we were able to do a quick tasting which was very nice and convenient.

There are several winery on the "street", we selected this place as it is high on a hill and I like views. We were too late for lunch, which ends at 1pm, we arrived about 115. We purchased several glasses of wine and just hung out, my wife and I solving the problems of the world. We spent about $30 for 6 glasses, the Malbec and Cav Sav is what we drank. They closed early for New Years or I would probably still be there. Can't say anyone was overly friendly, but accommodating. The best restrooms anywhere in Chile!!!! Restrooms in that country suck.

Visited here as part of a day trip. We covered Valparaíso in the morning which was amazing then called her for lunch then a tour of the Vineyard and wine tasting on our way back to Santiago.
Vineyard is set in a beautiful location with a panoramic view of the valley. Huge terrace area to sit and have lunch and take in the surroundings. The food was superb. The quality, portion size and taste was excellent. There is an extensive menu catering for all tastes and requirements. The wine list was fantastic and the price of wines were excellent as it’s subsidised so you have a chance to sample them as it’s all produced in house. You could literally visit here and stay for lunch and sit on the terrace sipping gorgeous wine and taking in the surroundings for the entire afternoon.
After lunch we had a guided tour of the cellar and the process of how they make and store the wine. Guide was really informative and interesting. We were then given a tasting session which was really good and the pairings and history of the grape. There is also a fantastic shop where you can get some fantastic discounted premium Indomita wines. Overall a wonderful experience if you are a wine lover and enjoy the whole history and tasting experience it’s a must. If you just love good food in a wonderful setting it’s a must. I highly recommend it. I would defiantly return.

On a recent trip to Chile, our tour group stopped for wine-tasting at Indomita. Of course, they hope you will by bottles of wine, but we only had a glass, but it was very enjoyable. The setting on the hillside gives a gorgeous view of the vineyards below, which you can also stroll through on your own. If you would like to do a wine-tasting, there is a cost involved to try 3-4 wines. The stop at Indomita was the perfect ending to a day tour to Valparaiso.

I visited with 2 dear Chilean friends who had never been and we all thoroughly enjoyed tour, wine and lunch. We had an excellent English speaking guide for a private tour of the wine making facility. I live in California and have been to many wineries and this tour was tops in terms of information on Indomita's history, their facilities, wine they make, Chilean wine regions, tasting and more. The guide had been through a industry certification program and she answered our many questions with patience and knowledge. We tasted 3 different wines on the large deck overlooking Indomita wines and the sunny Casablanca valley, and we were impressed. We then adjourned to a different area of the deck and enjoyed a fine lunch, with more great wine. This is a great stop on the main highway midway between Santiago and Valparaiso/Vina Del Mar. We drove from Vina. There are a couple other wineries in Casablanca if you want to try several different places. Oh, and htere is a very pretty pond and picnic area below the winery. Highly recommend.

For starters, the setting and the view of the restaurant are wonderful. And the wines are very good, in particular the Zardoz and the late harvest. But the service at the restaurant and the food was not at the same level. Waited an hour to eat not very well cooked piece of meat that was supposed to be wagyu. Drinks, even sodas, are put away from your table but they forget to fill the glass. The vineyard tour was superficial and not interesting.

Is it possible to have a tasting without a reservation?
Written December 28, 2017
Hi Jesanto you can. But I would tell you there are not many wines to taste and you can’t taste all the wines they sell. Although they do have cool wines so I’m sure you will like it 😄😄
