Viñamar was the last winery that i visited in Casablanca Valley. I've been in others too wineries before with my friends and just can say that the service provided by the viñamar team was outstanding! Very good :) all the members of the staff were very friendly, easygoing and knowledgeable about their wines, history and casa blanca valley in general. Together with my friends, i did the shortest tour, visiting the vineyards, the cellar where the guide explained us the difference between the charmat and champenoise method to produce sparkling wines, and we finished tasting different wines. I really enjoyed that I had the chance to compare wines made in Lleida valley with the wines made with the typical varieties of Casablanca valley such as chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir among others. Special thanks to Carolina azocar who help me to arrange this visit ! It was a great way to finish our day :) Good luck with your project guys !!

Lovely location, very friendly guide, nice sparkling wines. We visited as part of a tour to Valparaiso, so were not expecting a detailed tour or individual tasting, but that is what we got. The vineyard is beautiful, and the house is stunning. Our guide spoke fluent English and was happy to spend ages answering our questions. We're generally not sparkling wine drinkers, but the three wines we tasted were all fresh and vibrant and very nice.

The beautiful place, the restaurant with excellent food. The beautiful landscape. The store with good offers. I went in autumn where the trees had impressive colors that made the surroundings more beautiful. We had lunch at the Madero restaurant, a gourmet meal with its respective pairings.

I am Swiss who live in Brazil with my family and I traveled to Chile to celebrate my first year of marriage with my wife and some friends. I had the worst decision to visit this place, I was treated with discrimination by the staff at this winery. We were judging like people who wouldn't be able to pay the price of the place and we threatened that they would call security to take away space.

We made the reservation on the web, when we arrived we were kept waiting at the reception, they have a large company and they can not pay internet, I am from Mendoza, I work with the winery La Celia, which is from the group, but really the deal is not the same, everything you have to ask as if it were a hassle, we paid, they did not give me anything. The picnic food very well, the foamer the most basic and they wanted to charge me some breads for the mince. I would not come back, I think I can find better experiences, but come to Mendoza!!!!!
Just highlighting the girl who took care of us, she was polite.

The visit to this place was part of a tour by a tour provider. When we came we had a very quick wine tasting of three different wines where only one was from the actual winery. I understand they collaborate but it would have been nice to try the wines from this actual vineyard. The lady was very good at English and she knew her stuff about the grapes.
After the tasting we went to the shop, hoping to bring home a bottle or two. We got hold of one of the shop keepers who spoke English, but almost seemed disturbed we reached out to him. I asked him for a bottle that needed to be stored for about five years, and then we could drink it. He goes to one of the most expensive bottle in the store and just says "this one" and he gave me the look like it was out of my price range. I asked him if the bottle was actually from this vineyard and winery and he said yes. Without internet I couldn't check for myself and had to trust him as we were excited to bring home a bottle from our only visit to a vineyard in Chile. That was a straigh out lie. The bottle came from another place in Santiago and it's sad that you don't have faith in your own product and prefer to trick us to make money. Don't go here.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and loved it! The architecture of the house is beautiful and is very well maintained, the restaurant on the terrace has beautiful views, the food is exquisite and what we value most everywhere is the attention!!! Estefany was a super sweet girl and Marcelo was a SEVEN; he took pictures of us, he was always attentive, he was so thorough in delivering every detail that he noticed our celebration and we were surprised with a few bottles of mini brut with the word CONGRATULATIONS; Impeccable... Thank you!!!

Casa Valle Vinamar is a beautiful winery in Casablanca Valley. The tour is conducted by friendly, well-informed English-speaking guides who give you the wineries history while touring the winery and grounds. The tour wraps up with a visit to the tasting rooms where we sampled several excellent wines. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Viñamar is in the Casablanca Valley in Chile. It is a beautiful vineyard with 2 kinds of grapes, chardonnay and pinot noir.
They make excellent sparkling wines.
We took the tour and a wine tasting of 3 sparkling wines, extra brut, brut unique and rosé. All were great. Then we went to their bistro which I will review later.

We were taken to Vina Mar winery by our driver, who highly recommended it as his favorite winery. We were offered 2 different wine tasting tours, and selected the more expensive tour. We tried to pay in advance but were told, "No, no, you can pay later" we asked if they took credit cards, and were assured, "Yes, yes, all credit cards, you can pay after!" The tour was good and informative, but when we tried to pay for our tour and 2 bottles of wine, they had trouble with our American Express card. When offered a Visa, that didn't work either ...four credit cards later, they began randomly swiping cards, which in this Information Age is alarming, to say the least!!! We finally said, "Stop this!" And managed to negotiate a US dollars deal with Chilean change. When all was said and done, they accepted our US cash, gave us Chilean change, and would not give us receipts that described the transaction. We then discovered that they billed our American Express for the tour only. We are now disputing the tour charges(we had to pay cash!) Our beautiful wine tour has turned into what may or may not be a scam by the winery, but was, at least a bungle...
