I am talking about Ryuo-san boiling volcano where sulphurous vapours and boiling water from creeks are within reach. This is in Hokkaido. One can literally boil eggs there and the strong breezes blow the smell of sulphur away from us. It is not smelly or pungent as one expect. What I like is the background of vapour arising from the creeks make it mysterious and interesting to photograph. Deposits of sulphur are seen at the opening of the creeks.
