長門方面散策の折におじゃましました。
ここは、ずばり梅雨時期に来るべきです、アジサイの量もですが、品種の多さがすごいです。来年、絶対に来ます！！！そのときの評価は５になるはずです。

いろんな種類のアジサイがいっぱいです。私はアジサイだけを見に行きましたが予約をすれば精進料理が食べれたはずです。見るだけでもいいですよ。カメラの好きな方にはいいアングルがいっぱいあるかも

静かなお寺にあじさいがいっぱい

2018年6月3日に訪問しました。あじさい咲いてましたがピークはもう少し後だと思います。まだ早いせいか観光客は少なかったです。道路沿いに無料駐車場？があり、レンタカーをとめました。バス停も道路沿いにあったようです。

3000株の紫陽花

角島経由で長門入りし、油谷湾を一周。日本棚田百選巡りとお稲荷さんの絶景を見ようと訪問し立ち寄りました。5年ぶりでした。
先代のご住職がお亡くなりになり息子さんの代になってややお手入れが違うとの事前情報を得ていましたけれども、とんでもありません。
3,000株の素晴らしい紫陽花を堪能してまいりました。

ちょうど梅雨時期で空気が湿ってあじさいが見ごろの時期に訪問することができました。量もですが、色や品種の多さがすごいです。蚊に刺されやすいので蚊よけスプレーを吹いて行かれることをお勧めします。

7月初旬に行ったので、あじさいも終わりかけており　少し残念でした。多分最盛期にはとても綺麗だったと思います。
