歴史ある神社

平安時代から多くの参拝者が訪れる由緒ある神社のようで、1300年以上も存在し続けています。
石段参道を登ってお参りして来ました。上まで行くと、目の前を走る新幹線が見られたり、工場地帯も見れました。
途中には、稲荷神社や戎神社もありました。

初詣は人がいっぱい

初詣に行ったら人でいっぱいだった。参拝者の行列は下の鳥居まで伸びていて、所要30分ぐらいだった。境内は福みくじの大行列もあって、大混雑だった。正月はベビーカーや足の不自由な方々はつらそうな感じ。付近の臨時駐車場も人と車で大混雑だった。

工場夜景がきれい

境内から徳山の工業地帯が見えるので、夜に行くと工場の夜景がきれいです。工場萌えの人にオススメのスポットです。

落ち着く所。度々訪れます。１３００年の歴史を感じる所。境内にあるきれいな会館では、結婚披露宴は勿論のこと、色々な催し物が開かれる。会館に入った正面に有る石と木のオブジェは一見の価値があります。

年に一度参拝します

毎年、新年には参拝します。以前は境内にある大杉も高く立派でしたが、雷の被害にあい鬱蒼とした雰囲気がなくなり、残念です。コンビナートの街のほぼ中心に位置する八幡様は石段を登っていくと、企業の煙突が間近に見えます。

地元なので氏神様にあたります。
お正月は多くの人がお参りに行きます。
境内までの階段の段数がけっこーあります。
年末年始は規制がかけられ、駐車スペースがほとんど無く、近隣に駐車しておまいりします。

正月などイベント以外に境内散策を

徳山駅からバス約15分、徒歩で約30分余り。小高い丘の上に階段で上がります。境内はきれいで広く、静かな森の中です。結婚式場が併設されており、投稿者の私達もココで結婚式を挙げました。
