Old Silkworm warehouse now housing the indoor movie museum. A guy met us with silkworms to show us. I found this more fascinating than the indoor museum. There are many posters and props, costumes etc, but not as I had assumed from Japanese films filmed here. Many refer to American films. The museum covers 2 floors of the original factory. Look out for the heavy stones set into the floor/roof; these were heated up to provide the right temperature for the silkworms. There was a guide, but he spoke on English. Interesting setting out in rural Japan. There was a shop on site and a costume shop, but as we were part of a tour we did not have time. I think there was a charge to enter. Getting there we were able to see more of the typical way of Japanese natural life.
