Tsuruoka has a lot to offer for such a small city and the park is one of those sights. Nice for an afternoon walk. Besides the landscaping a number of temples (Idea and an Inari Shrine) can be visited. Parking is free.

Nice shady walk with several paths etc. Bring a picnic & escape the bustle of the town. Playground in poor condition (swings removed just frames left).
