室町時代に建てられたお寺として、有名な建造物です。ウォーキングに参加すると、三色団子として地元で有名な打吹団子が食べられます。

打吹公園から山へ走ると見えてきたのが長谷寺でした。紫陽花で有名な長谷寺と違って、ここは白馬の絵馬が有名やそうで、歴史（年季）を感じる絵馬でした。
