月山冨田城の麓にあります。ちょっと寂しいお墓ですが、かつて中国地方八カ国を制し、八カ国守護と呼ばれた尼子晴久のお墓。月山冨田城訪問の際には訪れたい場所です。

足立美術館の帰りに月山冨田城とこちらに伺いました。月山冨田城のふもとにあります。少しわかりにくいところなのですが案内版があるので間違えないと思います。
かつて中国地方のほとんどを支配した守護大名の尼子氏の最期です。小さいながらも格式のある宝篋印塔が建っていました。歴史ファンにはぜひ訪れてほしい場所です。

お墓は、少しわかりにくい場所にあります。尼子氏と最後は毛利氏との戦場となった月山富田城の跡地に眠る尼子晴久のお墓です。

月山富田山城への車での登り口を真っ直ぐに小さな看板を道なりに行った突き当たり上に有りました。当時は一緒に殉死した人もおられたんですね。

月山富田城の南側斜面。ちょっとした平地になっていますが、全体としてはやぶの中といった感じの場所に傾いた小さな宝篋印塔が建っていて、それが尼子晴久の墓。栄枯盛衰を思わざるを得ない寂しいお墓です。

奥出雲から布部ダム経由で広瀬町へ出る道路沿いにあり、車中からも見ることができます。よく目立つ看板があるので、見落とすことはありません。立派なお墓でした。
