　出雲大社の正門前、勢溜りと呼ばれるエリアに面した所にある。「横丁」という名前から連想するが、伊勢神宮のおかげ横丁の「超」ミニチュア版だ。特産物の出雲そば、水産物が豊富な土地柄にちなんでか回転寿司、最近名物化している＜ぜんざい＞などの店がある。足を運んだ日は平日だったが、昼時とあって結構な人出だった。

出雲大社南側の勢溜の大鳥居の近くにある地元料理飲食店&お土産物店が集まる小道です。5分ほど散策するだけでも楽しいと思いますのでまずは立寄られてはどうかと思います。

出雲大社正門前にあり、コインロッカーやトイレもあって、空港からまっすぐ出雲大社に行くにはとても便利です。お土産やさんや飲食店など、とても充実しています。リムジンバスのバス停前です。

出雲大社に入る前にある横丁です。お蕎麦やぜんざい、天然石のお店があります。こちらでお蕎麦を食べて天然石のお土産を買って楽しめました。

出雲ぜんざいでほっこり♪

出雲大社参道入口前にあるお店。
店内は満席でしたが、回転が早いのであまり待たずにお座敷へ案内されました。
メニューは３種類で、出雲ぜんざい（温）６００縁を注文。
縁ってのがイイですね(笑)
紅白のお餅が入ったぜんざいは、甘さ控えめ。
箸休めにおつけものが付いていました。

出雲大社から神前通りにはいってすぐ

出雲大社の勢溜の大鳥居側から神前通りに出るとすぐに右側にありました。横丁と呼ぶには小さなエリアですが、土産や食事の店が集まっています。朝、出雲空港に着いてからすぐに出雲大社に直行したので、人はまだ多くありませんでした。もう少し遅い時間で混雑していなければ食事をしていったかなと思いました。

門前まち1等地の横丁

勢溜の大鳥居のすぐ前にあるコンパクトな横丁です。
蕎麦、漬物、寿司、おむすび、土産屋さんなど、島根特産や出雲大社に因む品を扱う売店や飲食店が並んでいます。
通り沿いには休憩用の椅子も置いていますが、何せ暑いので、宿禰餅本舗「坂根屋」の”出雲ぜんざい餅店”で、冷たいお茶とかき氷の甘味補給をすると、「ご縁がありますように」と5円入りのご縁袋が添えられてきました！
地下には、しめ縄作りの体験工房（有料）もあり、グッズも販売しています。

出雲大社の入り口の勢溜の大鳥居前にあります。店舗数もそんなに多くはなく小さな横丁ですが、出雲の名物が食べれるお店やお土産などが集まっていました。
