A little bit more than a year has passed since I visited the area last time. My visit last year was in winter, when Okubiwako Park way was still closed. This time, at the end of March, when cherry blossoms had started shooting, I drove from Sugaura to Shiozu. I realized my last attempt to cycle along the road had been too ambitious anyway. Above all, the road is now one-way from Sugaura to Shiozu. If you want to cycle along the road as a part of your "biwaichi" or something, you should prepare a good bicycle and plan a good route.

When you go from Shiozu to Oura by car or by bike, taking Okubiwako Park Way is one choice. It is said that in spring you can see "4,000 cherry trees in a view." I found a cherry tree fallen and yet trying to shoot blossoms. I'd rather like to live like this one than to be in full bloom like other 3,999.
