彦根市方面から伊吹山に向かったが、ドライブウェイではなく登山口に向かうには長浜のほうが近いようだった。ちょっと分かりにくい場所にある。

できれば薬草園を見たかったが、薬草をどう加工してみ利用するかが地域の生活であったので、季節ごとの薬草の花畑などの遊びは、山に登りながら勝手に楽しめとのことらしい。まことにその通りである。

いろんな専門家が関わっておられるらしく、問えばいろいろ応えてくれるであろう。

実に盛りだくさんの文化資料館

立派な伊吹山文化資料館は入館料200円で、伊吹山の花々、動・植物、薬草関連、化石類、縄文時代の資料、独特の文化資料、宿場町の資料など豊富な文化財に溢れた贅沢な資料が眺められます。他の資料館ではこんなに多分野の豊富な文化財はまれです。

北国街道の春照宿にあります。入場料は大人200円、中学生以下は100円です。こちらの館では、、この地の生活、生業、祭りなどの紹介、間近に見える伊吹山の気候、地質、住んでいき動物の紹介をしています。この地の生活が伊吹山と深い関わりがあることが感じられます。
