Due to its inconvenient access by public transportation, Hado Misaki remains a rustic landscape without being disturbed by tourists. Apart from an object and an underground aquarium, there is nothing special. But the landscape is beautiful. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy not doing anything.

Very impressive with the view. We arrived to Hado Cape a bit late in the evening but we're really happy because less of tourist. The lighthouse already closed so we took a picture around there instead and enjoy with bbq seafood next to the parking lot. But in their business hour, you can buy the ticket for lighthouse tour. Highlight is a small aquarium downstair of the lighthouse which you can see lots of local fish and marine life.

This place is probably best in summer time. As we visited in februari it was windy, which we thought was also nice for a short walk. Unfortunately what was more attracting my attention was not the nice views, or daring birds, but the amount of trash all along the beach. Japan has to wake up and join, or start, a global action against pollution

I went to Cape Hado because of the series movie named "Saga ..I will miss you".My Japanese friend said this place was romantic place for a sweet couple.I like the local restaurant near the car park.We eat "Sakaae and Awabi" barbecue. It was delicious. We drove from Hakata station about 1.30 hours after we went to Yubuko morning market. Form Yubuko morning market is about 20 minutes) By the way you can go there by bus from Karatsu station.
