近鉄奈良線、石切駅南口から山手の方向になります。300ｍほど歩くと、弘法大師が一夜で彫刻したと言われる爪切地蔵があります。次に石切神社上の宮に向かいますが、途中には江戸時代末期から明治時代に「四国八十八ケ所霊場めぐり」を模して作られた石仏が並んでいます。これらは辻子谷石仏と言われています。石切神社上の宮からさらに登ると江戸時代に水車で製粉業があったそうです。興法寺は、役行者の創建で十一面観音は行基作だそうです。また近くには石の供養塔(十三重塔)があります。急な坂道もありますが、距離も短く楽しんで歩けると思います。
