茨木城跡から、徒歩１０分ぐらいの田中町の住宅街にあります。狭くて、細長い参道を歩くと天満宮が見えてきます。こじんまりとした天満宮で、人影もなく淋しい境内です。何故？道真公が宿泊されたかは、境内の案内板では分からず、、、
帰宅して調べた所、九州太宰府に道真公が流された時に、宿泊した土地が田中です。その時に充分なおもてなしもせず、追い出したみたいになり、祟りを恐れて天満宮を建立し、道真公を祀ったと記載されてます。

菅原道真に縁のあるという事でしたが、あまり訪れている人は少なかったように感じます。静かで落ち着いた雰囲気でした。

安威川と茨木川の合流地点傍の住宅地の中に鎮座する静かな天満宮。住宅街の細く長い趣のある表参道を行くと石の鳥居がありその先が境内。学問の神菅原道真を祀る天満宮本殿がひっそりと建ち境内社に春日神社も建っています。本当に静かで落ち着きます。

参道は梅の木が沢山植えられていて、天満宮の雰囲気は抜群です。紅白の梅の木と狛犬さんの前掛けの赤、撫で牛貰って左右に鎮座して見守って下さっています。

田中町そのものが入りにくい集落 そしてその中心にほっこりと存在してる神社 とっても懐かしい子供のころの遊び場の空気が残っていて ここだけ次官が止まったような感じです ひとりでこっそりやってくるスポット 天満宮なので梅も桜もきれいです 参道がとにかく味がある
