We were there just for short 3 hours, bc we had to rely on the public transportation which is a nightmare in Okinawa, particularly in these parts. We had a great time nevertheless and the cave complex was stunning. The snake exhibit was on the tiny side. The Eisa performance was amazing, too bad it is Forbidden to take pictures.... More

You need to buy admission tickets for this attraction site. I would say the Gyokusendo (cave) is the highlight for this place... breath-taking at first site! The cave took us about 1 hour, pretty slippery, dark, and humid. (For those who have never visited these kind of caves, please be aware). If you are first time traveler to Okinawa, it's... More

It is a big cave with well-designed stairs and road, so that family with small kid like us, can enjoy a nice walk inside the cave. My 2 years old daughter was able to finish the whole trail on her own. View inside are marvelous, it is a quiet and spacious place to enjoy the special geographic feature.

I took a day trip from Naha to visit this place. Overall it was not worth it - I've seen better caves elsewhere. While the cave has the standard features (stalactites, stalagmites), everything has clearly been carved and paved over for tourists, so it doesn't look natural. The rest of Okinawa World is nothing to write home about; a poorly... More

The cave system here is quite immense and does take a good 30 minutes to walk through . Once you are out, you are at the village. It's the same as Ryuku Mara for those that have visited that with kitschy shops that sell activities. The kids had fun on a sweltering hot humid July so that's really all I... More

One big tourist trap catering mainly for group tours. The cave walk through was interesting but the rest of walk took you through numerous shops and cafes. Glad we did not drive to this area only for this sight.

Well lighted and easy to walk through caves. Good for children. Beautiful formations. A must see in Okinawa. Afterwards, enjoy the habu show. It is something to see. Also, they offer habu liquor samples as you walk through the the habu distillery. Great tasting ice cream made from fresh fruits. Bring your family.

I really loved and enjoyed the Okinawa World. The place has a huge aquarium, parks, an old traditional Okinawan village and an awesome cave. I would really encourage anyone going to Okinawa to visit Okinawa World. However, I think some of the animals were not treated properly. For instance, we saw a mongoose that just ran back and forth in... More

The stalactite and stalagmite formations are interesting to see. Whilst the formation are not large, they compensate in density and numbers. Be warned that it is still very warm and humid in the caves, though it is slightly better than the outside. There is a dance performance in the "village". Again, nothing amazing, but the dancers do put together a... More

Long walk through underground cave system. Very interesting and beautiful cave. Surprisingly hot and humid for being so deep underground. Very sad the history that Okinawans hid here during WWII and how they were treated by the Japanese military.
