Lovely park (Oct 2019)

Beautiful scenery with a sea view and very short walk from carpark. Lovely park to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A little pasture for kids to run around after a drive while adults enjoy the sea view.

Nice Easy Access Small Park
Mar 2019
Cape Chinen Park is not huge but we spent quite a while just relaxing and looking out to the ocean and enjoyed the nice view. It is just a short walk from the carpark so it wa really easy to get there. Besides tourists, local were doing paragliding, leaping off the cliff and gliding gracefully above the blue sea and into the clear sky. We just stood there admiring their freedom in the air.

A nice park to end the day
Dec 2019
This park is walking distance from Sefa-Utaki. It is good place to end the day. It has open space where one can view the Pacific Ocean unblocked.

Great views
Oct 2019 • Couples
This spot is located just down the road from the sefa utaki carpark. It does have it's own carpark if you don't fancy the short walk. There's some great views of the ocean and there were a few families enjoying a picnic when we visited. I nice spot to visit if you're in the area.

Amazing View

Amazing view overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the most beautiful capes in Onna. When the blue sky meet the blue sea, it's always magical.

I'd seen the pictures, so I definitely wanted to go. But they just didn't do it justice. This place is majestic!

Scenic
Dec 2018 • Family
It’s a good 40 mins drive from Naha city to get to this cape. How different is this from the so many other capes of the island ?

Well there’s a promontory they juts out to the sea which visitors can walk on to view the sea scape. Most visitors would have parked at the Nanjo visitor center about 5-8 mins walk from the cape but we saw a signage saying 2nd car park so we gave a shot. Parked On top of the hill before walking down the staircase towards the promontory. There is further descending staircase from the promontory , which I’m taking a guess would lead to the beach. But we didn’t try.

View from the sea cliff

Decent lookout over Pacific Ocean, there are two main spots, view is similar. Seaside on this side of the island is not as good as on west side, there’s no sandy beaches, only tidal, muddy areas.
