We need to cross the road as the carpark is not connected nor sheltered to the outlet mall. It was drizzling at the time we were shopping at the outlet mall, we were thankful there were umbrellas for all to use all around the outlet mall. All we needed to do is drop off the umbrella in the provided umbrella baskets at any stores we happened to shop at. This made the shopping experience less unpleasant on a rainy day. There were a lot of brands eg Polo Ralph, Gucci, ABC Mart etc. sadly we failed to get anything that fitted us or of our liking and hence left after 2-3hours of shopping.

You wish Shopping will soon be considered as a sports in the Olympics...patient...one day they may consider and a Singaporean will emerge Gold with world record.
Been here second time. You can take the free shuttle from airport, domestic side, or take train from Naha city or just take taxi if there is a group. We did just that.
15 minutes only, less than 2,000 yen. It has both high end brand, mass brand and local brands. As it is Autumn and winter seasons, most clothings are jackets, sweaters, etc.
We head to vidit our friends; Michael Kors, Agnes b, Kate Spade, Coach, etc more american brands...can buy more for less. The sale ladies were so fast using calculator that they could take part in Super Brain China. Once we pick an item to look, she came over tell us, first 60 percent, then another 30 percent for that day, then buy 2 items another 10 percent. ...so the item is free right? NO! Of course not... sin $80 to $100 plus. As we are buying bags, wallets, etc my mind switch to baggage weight ...however, nothing will stop us from buying.
We justify this activity as we came on a 5 hour flight, cannot sleep if you dont buy, help Japan economy, very cheap or wasted if dont buy, singapore dont have this lei, etc...101 excuses just to buy. Well done!
So have fun when you are here. You are your own supervisor. If you have a mobile ATM (Always Thankfully Married...he pay lor!)
Now strategy
First..go for brands u like
Second..go for brands you may like
Third.. go for brands with huge discount cannot dont like
Then, remember you can still get tax refunded at the 2 storey building for a fee near Michael Kors outlet. Actually upstairs. Some shops refund on the spot. That is, tax free already when u buy a minimum amount. Some u need go do yourself. But just go to counter, show items, receipt, passport! You get some money back. However, this service takes a cut.
Then with the money...shop again...i was kidding. Save for rainy days but it was raining so much in Okinawa that we decided we use the savings for of course those rainy days! Awesome!
Going back, there are plenty of taxis outside.
We did not get to go to all the shops but just 4 shops due to time constraint. They close at 8pm and the tax refund counter closes at 830pm.
We had snacks and ice cream float at A & W....what an evening!
Have fun if you love outlet shopping.

We had the monorail day pass so we took the monorail to the airport then took the 6 pm bus 95 to the mall.
Bus 95 shares the same bus stop 4 (at the domestic airport) as the LCC shuttle bus for Peach and Vanilla Air. We joined the queue initially then realised people who queued were taking the LCC shuttle bus which came rather frequently.
We were the only passengers on the 6 pm bus to the mall. The bus driver confirmed with us twice that we were going to the mall. Guess he didn't expect us to go there at that hour. But the timing was ok for us as we were able to go through most shops before they closed at 8 pm. I bought two pairs of ASIC shoes for less than JPY10,000 and tax-free on the spot while my cousin who bought a Michael Kors bag had to go to a service counter to process her tax refunds.
We didn't take the last bus 95 back to the airport which departed at 7:30 pm. Instead, we took a bus from the bus stop outside A&W back to Naha bus terminal. A few buses goes to Naha bus terminal from that bus stop. Paid JPY400 per pax for the bus.
Quite a good mix to spend one to two hours if you have the time.

Ashibina is a great place for shopping. I went there when my wife got the international driver license in Tomigusuku so she can drive in Hawaii. There are several car rental nearby, and it is down south of the airport. I recommend as there are lots of stores and places to eat, besides parking spaces.

Singaporeans beware! It is not worth buying Japan brand watches there if it is available in Singapore. Even the made in Japan Seiko series are more expensive at this so called outlet mall than retail prices in Singapore. Do not be deceived by their discount because the displayed original retail price is also about 30% higher than Singapore price.
Feel really disappointed that this so called outlet mall is no outlet at all given their unattractive prices of goods. It will be more appropriate to just call it a suburban mall instead of an outlet mall.

During our June 2012 trip in Okinawa, we visited this outlet twice. We like to shop at premium outlet, frankly, the price is so much higher compare to USA premium outlet (no other country outlet can compare to USA premium outlets, I had been to South Korea premium outlet, HKG outlet, Msia Outlet, Harbour Town GC outlet, I still prefer any outlets in States).
You can still find cheap stuff especially the local Japanese brands, the price is really cheap. If you are looking for USA brands, you may skip them, because their offered price still very expensive.
Free shuttle from the Naha airport, get the brochure from the friendly staff while you wait for your shuttle to come, and exchange the discount coupon at the information counter when you arrive at the outlet. They do speak English at the information counter Only. Most of the shop keepers don't speak English, but they still very helpful and assisted me to pick my matching Japanese outfits to go with.

This is a Mall way to far from been an outlet mall, if you don't have 550.00 for a purse o 400.00 for dress, keep yourself away from this mall, so far I won't go back. Now if you go across the street, you'll find cheap and yummy food and some other stores like Daiso which is a dollar store, magnificent 😎I got to spend 3 hours in there with my kids and got out with a huge bag including new umbrellas for 3 dollars, what's better than that?

Maybe in Japan this place is considered cheap, but in general it’s not. A normal Ralph Lauren polo top cost 80-100usd in an outlet, that’s not normal. The same to say for a lot of the other designers. Tommy Hilfiger polo for 55usd. Not worthwhile visiting

During my holidays in okinawa, I went for shopping at Ashibina mall which is not too far from the airport. If you have a few hours of transit at Naha airport you can visit this mall and its so easy to get there. Outside the airport near the smoking room, you have free shuttle bus to go to the mall.
Its a big mall with all the international branded items and a few cafes. There is also an information counter to provide you information about the location of the stores that you might be looking for and the good thing is that the staff can speak english.
For shopping lovers I really recommend Ashibina mall...

Spend about 2 hours, and didn't even see all the shops!
It's mostly outdoor area.
Get your tax free shopping done here.
good mix of high fashion, sports and street fashion, something for everyone, even kids.
There are a few restaurants around, on the second level.
Brand highlights: snidel + gelato pique, Gucci, addidas/reebok, champion, Zegna, vivienne Westwood, chloe, Bally
just to name a few.
Visit the website if you want the full shop list.

My mistake, as I got confused of Ashibina with Parco City. Ashibina is in Tomigusuku is down south of the airport, and I went there when my wife renewed her driver license, and is nearby. It is a nice shopping center with several shops, and a good place for tourists. On the other hand Parco city is in Urasoe towards the ocean with mostly expensive brand products, and only a few eateries. I wouldn't recommend Parco City as it more for Taiwanese tourists that want to buy American products.

Hello,
Not too sure as i did not see any such services. If there is, it will usually be at or near info counter. However, if you check the outlet services oage , there is no mention of such services.
You may write to the mall directly to get more details.
Have fun!

Hello.
You can get to Ashibinaa Outlet by bus from Naha Bus Terminal. From your hotel on Kokusai Dori, take the Yui Rail from Makishi station to Asahibashi station. It's 3 stops about 5 mins. Walk about 3 mins to the Naha bus terminal.
At the Naha bus terminal, take either:
Ryukyu Bus Kotsu No.55 (Southbound on Makiminato line)
Ryukyu Bus Kotsu No.56 (Southbound on Urazoe line)
Ryukyu Bus Kotsu No.88 (Southbound on Ginowan line)
Ryukyu Bus Kotsu No.98 (Southbound on Ryudai line)
Take a bus for「Toyosaki Michinoeki」
Get off a bus at [Outlet Mall Mae]
The price is 400 yen for a 30 min ride.
Hope this helps.
