History is what makes our world no matter where we are.... I went there alone to visit the history of Okinawa, where we were and where we are and where we will be in the future. Yes Okinawa also had war-lords, and they too had kings etc.... Please remember this place has ruins and the trails may be tricky and wear good walking shoes, and watch your step..... although there no rest room facilities, and/or restaurants bring a water bottle or two..... this place has excellent views of the ocean and this place is so beautiful and peaceful and if you are like me and full of fasination your mind will tend to wonder to the past......

There isn't much to see at this location, unless you are looking for piles of rocks and a castle ruins, under construction. It would be more interesting if they had signs, in English, explaining what happened here, during the Battle of Okinawa. Or, tour guides to give castle ruin tours, in several languages. There are no facilities for food or, rest rooms and the paths may be dangerous, to some folks. Good walking shoes are recommended, for those who like to explore. Some visitors, hike down to the sea and go snorkeling. With, just a few signs, explaining the history of this attraction, I would give it a five star rating. It is an important, historical site, I think. But, I wouldn't recommend my friends, visiting, unless it's just for a short period of time, to look at the view.

Spectacular view of the southernmost tip of the island. Decent surf spot at the bottom of the cliffs. Bring reef shoes if you want to go out on the reef.
