The Nago Pineapple Park is great for those with young children. My son thought he was driving the whole time on that driverless cart. The park has a lot of information about pineapple and tons of souvenir that are made out of pineapple. The surprising part is that there's a dinosaur park inside where kids would love it.

The park although small, was pretty well organised for a 1-2 hour visit. From the parking lot, there will be a bus pickup through the pineapple fields with useful information on growing pineapples. It was then followed by taking an automated cart through some pineapple field and where they provided more information on growing pineapples. After which, there was a walking path where you can take some photos and a mini dinosaur park.
The largest area was the pineapple gift shop that sells and also provides sample of pineapple wine and juice, and other various snacks. You can enjoy tax free with minimum spending of around 4k yen. I particularly liked the wasabi hotate that was sold here. Sliced pineapple sold here was pretty sweet too!

The male staff at the Ananas kitchen inside Nago Pineapple Park have serious problems with their social skills being very crusty and having a really bad attitude towards customers. He is a disgrace to Nago Pineapple Park and has tarnished the reputation of Pineapple Park, as we have seen other negative reviews about this staff. The owner of the park also acknowledged that they are aware of the problem with this staff member and how they are damaging the entire Nago Pineapple Park.

Well, the Nago Pineapple Park is very accessible and has several parking spots nearby, impossible to miss (flashing colors).

The entrance fee (600 YEN/person) is simply scandalous for what they offer. The park consists in the following "items":

1. Picture taken of you before anything, with a pineapple mascot (sorry for the worker).
2. Visit in an automated ride of the pineapple plantation (I really do hope they have more, as the trips lasts for less than 5 minutes and it goes very slow, nothing very much interesting to see).
3. Picture taken of you riding the... pineapple car.
4. Go and buy the pictures (around 10 USD each) while you have a "all-you-can-eat" pineapple "appetizer"
5. Visit of a very interesting (and much larger) shell museum (what does this relate to pineapples is a mistery)
6. Getting lost in the way, while you want to go to the toilet
7. Visit of the "winery" if you can call it like that, as it is made from pineapple (from outside a couple of crystal dirty doors)
8. Visit of the Shop (with capital letters), huge as I have not seen any, where you can taste wine, champange, sweets, etc. made all from pineapple. It is like a maze, like an small IKEA, so that you go and spend more money. When you think it is finished, the shop goes on and on and on... Pay and buy something more (ice cream).

Where is the park? What do you pay for? A short ride not seeing almost anything and some pineapple to eat? This is just a big shop that put the word "park" instead to attract tourists...

Go and check the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. That is a real pineapple park.

This park is the most uninteresting park I have ever visited. But in Japan, this weird combination of awful is kind of amusing.

You learn in 3 minutes everything you need or want to know about pineapples, then you go inside and you see the most amazing display of sea shells! ... Totally weird.

They offer freshly cut pineapple for 100¥ and it's delicious.

It was part of our scheduled tour so we did it. But I wouldn't recommend it

Hope this helps

If you like pineapple, this is th eplace to learn more about the entire family From the pineapples that only flower to the different kinds of edible pineapples. This place used to can pineapples for amajor brand, then the brand went to the Phillipines, where there was more land and cheaper labor and a larger for for shipping all the different kinds of fruit they had growing there. So this place began making pineapple wine and other pineapple products to fill this facility. It may seem small from the outside but it is amazingly large. You might think you will spend an hour here, but the whole place normally takes about 2 hours or so! First you need to take the golfcart tour and learn more about pineapples around the world. They have a great collection of these plants in the facility and your golf cart will tell you all about the pineapples. Take your time with the ride. Then when you get off the golf cart go straight ahead inside and you will be greeted with several huge piles of chopped pineapple to sample as much as you want. Then you can begin to stroll and maybe sample the fantastic pineapple cream puff, which is always delicious! The shops at the end had a variety of items, including pineapple products, pineapple wines (good for dessert or baking hams). However, do not expect an actual theme park filled with rides, games of chance and various food stalls - you'll end up quite disappointed. This is a Pineapple plantation / winery / food store that my wife and I (and 5 or 6 others used to visit at least once a month when we lived there! Enjoy! (Oh! Almost forgot, they do not take U.S. Currency and in Japan the credit card companies are allowed to charge up to 15% on all charges, so the Nago Pineapple Park does not take credit cards either, but they do take Yen!)

The Nago Pineapple Park has affordable entry. You walk around a garden and small pineapple plantation or ride through on a golf cart. Then at the end you go through their shop and winery.
This isn’t an attraction that’s worth going out of your way for. The tour companies come here a lot and I think that’s why it’s so well known. I think they come here because it’s a cheap attraction that they can add to a tour that won’t increase the price dramatically.

Good tour to take if you are looking for something to do to fill the time. It is kid friendly if you have kids. I went alone to past time while my daughter was at work in the base. It was interesting to find out about the many types of pineapples and the few types that are actually editable. You can enjoy the walking tour or the riding tour. The scenery is beautiful and there are photo opportunities. You can try the sliced pineapple and sip the pineapple wine and it makes a nice gift purchase and they will ship it for you.

This place is not worth the money. It is a tourist trap. The only thing worth it was the free tram ride from parking lot to entrance after that everything has a fee. I personally consider this a mini Okinawa version of the Hawaii Dole plantation with a cuter twist to trick tourists to spend time and money.
