It took 2 hours to get to this cherry tree by car since many cars were crowded.
So, me and my husband walked an up-hill road for 40 minutes.
So tired, but this tree was worth seeing.
Great, beautiful,wonderful!!!

A 1000-year old cherry blossom tree, apparently named for an emperor that visited long ago. It stands on top of a hill in the middle of the countryside, and though it wasn't covered in blossoms this year (apparently due to an unusually cold winter), it was still a sight to behold. Note the car queues can go for up to 2 hours, so if you don't mind a bit of a hike, I suggest parking at the bottom and walking the 2.5km up the hill. It's a little exhausting if - like me - you do very little exercise, but there is food and drinks at the top to refresh yourself.

The giant 1000-year-old cherry tree on the summit of a mountain in Maniwa City is worth seeing at least once. It is said that Emperor Go-Daigo stopped by here on his way to be exiled to Oki.
