It's worth visiting if you want to get a quick understanding of the bizen ware's history and style. The museum building itself is nothing fabulous with Showa style linoleum floor throughout, but they do have a collection of very old bizen pottery (dates around 1300's)...More
Firstly the nearest station is Imbe (don't get off at Biden).
Once you get off the train there is an excellent shop selling pottery on the second floor of the station building but the museum (700Y) is 100 yards,away, just across the station forecourt.
