春夜桜見物に行きました。ライトアップされてとても幻想的でした。撮り鉄にも桜を背景に1両編成のキハとか撮れるので魅力的と思います。秋は紅葉が美しいです。ちなみにBBQなどできるので花見時期の夜は学生とかの酔っ払いがいたりします。

雪の残る真冬に訪問したのは残念でした。観光案内所でもらったパンフレットには、160本の桜が咲き誇る旨が書かれていました。冬の公園は、散策する人もおらず静かな雰囲気でした。小高い丘となっている為、見晴らしが良いのが救いでした。市内一帯を見渡せます。
