備中高梁駅前にあります

備中高梁駅を出てすぐ目の前の通りに面したところにあります。備中松山城へのアクセスのほか、市内各地の観光スポットへの行き方を地図を使って説明してもらえました。手荷物預かりなどもありました。観光に出る前に立ち寄ると便利だと思います。

駅舎が新しくなり、場所が大変わかりにくいです。備中松山城方面に降りて、左手の大通りの左側を少し歩いたところです。ここから事前予約の備中松山城行き乗り合いタクシーがでています。

JR高梁駅の改札階に案内板があるので、指示通りに1階へ降り、駅前を左に歩いて1本目の道路を右折してすぐの斜め向かいにあります。ここで乗合バスの予約をしようとしたら、予約は前日までと言われ、「下調べ不足だ仕方がないタクシーで・・・」と思っていたら同じ境遇の人がやって来たので2人でシェアすることに。案内所のスタッフはテキパキとタクシーを手配してくれたり、城、武家屋敷、頼久寺庭園巡りセット券が得だと説明してくれたのでそれを購入。非常に心強い案内所でした。

備中松山城行きの乗合タクシーがあります

高梁市でもっとも有名な観光地は備中松山城かと思いますが、自家用車なしで備中松山城に行こうとするとかなりの長距離を歩くか乗合タクシーを利用することになります。
前日に電話予約して翌日出発時間の少し前にこちらの観光案内所で乗車の旨を伝えるとパンフレットを色々いただけた上で車の場所を案内していただけました。

シャトルバスを利用の為に立ち寄りました。たいへんに早口ですが親切な対応でした。わかりやすい資料も豊富で、バス待ちの時に、お土産の試食も提供して頂きました。（シャトルバス:¥500)

ここから備中松山城いきの乗り合いタクシーが手配できます。駅から少し離れていて、かつJRの駅員はよくわかっていないので予約する際にきちんと確認しましょう。

阿智神社の場所を聞きました。地図をくださり親切に教えて下さいました。この案内所の場所は分かりにくかったので美観地区の橋のたもとの案内所の方が便利です。

４月３０日に来た時は道路の右側にあったのですが、６月１日に来た時はシヤッターが降りてました。そのまま道を進むと左手に観光案内所が見えたのでそちらへ行きました。中にいたおばさんに向かいのはシヤッターが降りてると言うと「今日からここへ移転したの」と言います。所在地は高梁市旭町1335-1。なお高梁バスセンターも当日駅の西側から東側へ移転しました。観光案内所は以前より広くなってます。商品は高梁茶420円がありました。岡山の茶は飲んだことがないので買おうかと迷いましたが買いませんでした。パンフレット類は夫婦岩とか吹屋がありますが羽山渓に関するものがありません。郵便局だとミネラルウオーターが飲めるのですがここにないのかとおばさんに訊くと紅茶を飲めるようにする計画があるとのこと。

とても親切に対応頂きました。

オフィスを訪問しても知らんぷりの観光案内所が多い中、備中高梁駅前の観光案内所は、とても親切でした。街歩きに使えそうなパンフレットが欲しくて訪問しただけですが、いろいろと声を掛けてくれ、お見送りまでしていただき恐縮する位でした。高梁市を訪問した際は、是非立ち寄ってみた方が良いでしょう。駅前のロータリーを渡って、駅前から真っ直ぐ伸びる道路の右手にあります。
レンタサイクルも取り扱っており便利です。
