鬼の城周辺のコースを歩きました。そこへはまず車で行く必要があります。みちは歩くのにいいのですが、行くまでが大変だと思いました。

鬼の城周辺のウォーキングコース。
鬼の城までは車で行く必要があります。
鬼の城の最寄り駅は、吉備線の服部駅ですが、歩くのは無理です。
「総社ふるさと自然の道」というネーミングにマッチしない。

一部のみを体験しただけではあるが、こういったのが設定されていると散策がしやすいので良かった。なかなか、目的や目標がないと歩けない人なので時間があればよかったと残念におもいました。

総社市が自然とのふれあいを狙って設定したウォーキングコースで７コースあるが、まずそのスタート地点（鬼ノ城と岩屋の２箇所ある）迄行くのが大変。自分は鬼ノ城と岩屋を（別々に）訪れ、その際このコースを一部体験したが、ちょっと行ってさっと歩いて帰れるものではない。スズメバチに注意という掲示があちこちあるし、マムシも出るらしい。コース自体を否定するものではないが、観光客は、よほど山中のウォーキングに興味があり下調べをするのでない限り対象としないのが無難。

ゴールデンウィークに行きました。ちょうど、一面のレンゲ畑。ピンクの絨毯です。びっくりするくらいの景色で、幸せな気分になりました。水路がたくさんあり、さまざまな小魚がいて、なつかしい故郷という感じで、よい時間を過ごすことができました。

大昔に備中県民局が作ったウォーキングマップを片手に、もう片方の手に一眼レフを抱えて、夫婦でのんびりと歩きました。
道は整備されていて、古墳や社寺などの見どころも多く、とても良いコースでした。
