アルネ津山のすぐ隣にある神社だ。そんなに大きくはないが、石でできた囲いなど手入れはきちんとされている。地元のまちなかの氏子たちが信心してさまざまな手をつくしているのだろうと思わせる。ご利益は商売繁盛と火難防除。いかにも人口密集地の神社らしい。八頭と書いて「ヤカミ」と読むそうだ。

道路沿いに有り、特に遮蔽物が無いので外からでも拝むことが出来ます。18世紀に創建なので古くは有りません。地元の神社といったところです。

津山市の市街地、大きな百貨店や図書館などが入っている建物の隣にひっそりとあります。小さな祠が２つありその周りを寄進した信者さんの名前が刻まれた石碑が道路際に並んででいます。規模のわりにきれいに手入れされて地元の人に大切にされていることがうかがわれました。

桶屋長にあります。祭神は「倉稲魂命」です。津山市で１番早い時期にお祭りがある神社です。商売繁盛を願って町内会でお祭りしています。

市内中心部にある神社です。きちんと額の架かった鳥居の奥が境内ですが、拝殿の更に奥の祠自体は小さなものでした。賽銭箱が目立つ感じがしました。由緒書きによると火難防除の神徳があるそうです。
