There are many Chistianity remains in Taketa(Oita Prefecture) In about 1550, Chistianity flourished and even during the period of Chiristian repression, Christians worshiped secretively. When you came The Chikuraku(Taketa Bamboo Lantern Festival) ,you can enjoy fantastic scenery.
