Further up the mountain is designated walking trails, pretty good views of forest and Nakatsu! Some of the trails are hard going waking up a mountain!

We enjoyed our walk through this Peace Park which included a temple and statues donated by various Asian countries to promote peace and cultural understanding. There is also a Peace drum that you can beat for a small fee.
