広場と忠魂碑

今山八幡宮の近くにある公園。芝生の敷かれた広場があり、その中央には大きな忠魂碑が立っている。高台にあるが斜面に生えている木々に遮られてしまい眺望は利かない。

寺社仏閣の公園的な雰囲気

今山大師、今山八幡宮のある公園です。延岡駅から徒歩圏内で、上の方まで自動車でも上がることができます。公園というよりは広場って感じでしょうか。小高い丘の上にあるパワースポット。晴れたときの景色は見応えがあります。

公園、というか広場ですね。芝生が植えられた広場です。
春になると桜が咲き誇って素敵です。
トイレ設置されています。

延岡駅からは西方にある公園です。
公園といっても見るべきところはほとんど今山八幡宮さんと今山大師さんでちょっとだけ広場がありました。
西南戦争で活躍されたかたへの忠魂碑が建てられ、たまにいぬの散歩で来られた方がおられる静かな公園です。
