Nice views, but nothing was open

Stopped here in February 2017. Great views of the islands to the west, nice place to take a brief walk and snap some pictures, but nothing was open. I'm happy to have stopped here, but I wouldn't plan it as a destination, at least during the winter.

Very attractive location 1.5-2 hours drive West of Kumamoto Shi (the JR Misumi train line from Kumamoto terminate at Misumi East Port, and buses also run from the Kumamoto Kotsu Centre).
