Many parts of the castle have been nicely rebuilt. A good place with lots of greenery to relax or for exercise walking/running. A short walk from the station. A lot of other recommended tourist spots are nearby.

There is no actual castle. The outer defensive walls along the moat remain, and the Higashiote Gate (East Gate) has been rebuilt. The inner area is a park with numerous cherry trees which also line the moat. It is still worth a short visit as...More
