Very enjoyable place to stay

Have just had a couple of days here and it has been very enjoyable. We booked before we left Australia and all went extremely well. We were picked up at the Hiroshima Station by the resort bus and had a lovely drive of about 4 plus hours over the amazing Great Seto Bridge to the Island Of Shikoku. Welcome at the resort was friendly and very efficient. We had a room on the tenth floor with a great view over the town and mountains. The bedroom was comfortable with a good bathroom , things like shampoo, toothbrush and paste were all supplied. You are given a Yukata outfit to wear so basically you can wear that the whole time you are at the resort, means you don’t have to bring much clothes. The Onsen , hot baths were very good, loved the outdoor rock pools, temperatures of the different pools ranged from 18, 32, 38 40 to a hot 42 degrees. Such a great way to bathe and relax. Dinner and breakfast were both smorgasboard or as it is called in Japan, Viking dining . There was a great variety of food, something for everyone, one little problem nothing was written in English so if you did not know what it was exactly just try a little then go back for more if you liked it. After dinner their was great live entertainment but again it was in Japanese, enjoyable anyhow. Their is a big amusement park here as well with all sorts of rides, great for families with kids, place was very busy and that was mid week so I imagine weekends and holidays would be very popular. Great place to visit and stay, give it a go , it is different.

More of a Health resort?

I went to New Reoma World with my wife (who recommended going) I had great expectation about the place after my wife talked it up. On arriving in a shuttle bus (which had several beverage holders missing) I was excited to explore the place. Previously if you stayed the night at the hotel you could do the Oriental Trip for free and also could use the Karaoke room for free. My wife was shocked to find out now that you have to pay for both. I also was shocked as I was led to believe (from my wife's and her family's previous trips) that both were free. That was the first shock. I also noticed the lack of children around (which was surprising for an "amusement park".) There were plenty of older people walking around in kimonos and going to the baths. To be fair, my wife's and my motivation for going was to enjoy the King Crab buffet dinner and we weren't disappointed. The range of food available was amazing and so delicious. The breakfast was pretty good (however when you get back to your table the food will have gone cold). As far as the quality of the hotel goes. I was amazed that in today's modern world there is no free WiFi available nor did the TV have satellite channels (it just offered a handful national channels). On our way back home my wife asked me if I would go back. I seriously thought about it and then said "Not in a hurry". New Reoma World seems to be no longer customer focused and is more about bleeding as much cash as possible from the visitors. The food was great, but the amusement park section was closed for some reason. I said that it's weird that an "Amusement Park" has the amusement rides not going. I wouldn't consider New Reoma World an amusement park but rather a health resort for the older Japanese population (my wife and I were the youngest passengers on the shuttle bus).

This is a place to visit if you are traveling with kids. It's popular among the locals too, who go there on special occasions like birthdays.
I went there during the winter with friends to warm ourselves up in the nice onsens (hot springs) they have.
I liked this part of the visit best.
There were two indoors and three outdoor ones. The outdoor ones were great as they were surrounded by the forest area.
We also had the lunch buffet. It was pretty good with a neat array of different kinds of tea, breads, cakes, fruit, chicken, potato dishes, etc.
The place was very crowded as it was a Sunday afternoon.
Overall, a nice and refreshing experience.

Just a horrible and expensive experience from top to bottom.
Unfriendly and untrained staff with high prices.
But don't worry, the E. coli bateria is free.
Entire family (young child too) sick for a week!
Stay away from this place by all means.
