駅の近くにあり、親切な対応

釜石駅の直ぐ近くにあります。宿泊ホテルフォルクローロ三陸釜石と釜石駅の隣にあり、釜石大観音への行き方とバスの時刻表を教えて頂きました。とても助かりました、閉館前に釜石大観音に上ることができました。
感染防止対策として、手の消毒とパーティションがあります。自転車のレンタルもやっています。

駅隣接でほっとします

全く知らない土地に来てほっとするスペースです。すぐにスタッフの方が対応してくださいました。電車のことや街での食事のことなど便利です。このあたりは７時には商店街等も閉まってしまうので仕方ないのですが、閉まるのが早い。今後は、乗り換えの案内表示を大きく示すとか、三陸鉄道のＰＲ、ユニバーサルな視点での掲示、Ｗｉｆｉスペースやｅａｔ　ｉｎのスペースなどできてくるといいかなと思います。

駅の改札口すぐ横

JRの駅舎からはすぐ左隣、三陸鉄道の改札口からもそこまで距離はないので立地は悪くありません。スペースは広くありませんが、カウンターにはスタッフがおり不明な点は問い合わせることができます。駅周辺の観光マップなども置いてあり、情報収集に役立てることができました。

釜石線で花巻から来た際、お腹がすいたので情報を聞き出すため伺いました。
それとは別の目的で釜石に来たのですが、その件に関して無理です。と紹介する気があるのかとも少しおもってしまいました。

しかし、美味しいところを紹介頂けたので、それに関しては感謝しております。

釜石駅に隣接するホテルフォルクローロの1階にある小さな案内所です。施設が新しくて綺麗です。パフレットやチラシなどのほか、バスの時刻表もありました。市の中心部までは約1キロもあるので、バスが便利です。
