the castle itself is really small. but the scenery and the view from it is beautiful as the castle is located on the top of the hill in sumoto. there wasn't any other visitors when i went there so it was really quiet and peaceful...More

For an historian like me this castle ruin and it's rebuild keep (concrete btw) is gefundenes fressen...obviously I'm interested. But for non-historians this is worth a visit. There's a cool breeze and shadow with nice view on Sumoto and surroundings. Nice point to snap pictures...More

you can climb up using by several hiking corse.you should ask for travel guide center.
