We really enjoyed the few hours spent with Yoshiko. She picked us up at the railway station. She knows how to make people feel at home. She's very patient and gave explanation about every Japanese product. The cooking class was relaxing and the food delicious. We very happy to cook in a Janapese house and not in the kitchen of a restaurant. Actually students cook in Yoshiko's kitchen, with her daily products! So, it's very authentic!
We would recommend it for sure. And it's a excellent value for money as well (we had the railway pass so we could go there "for free").

Hi Leatitia and Regis
Thank you so much for sending your warm comment to here.
I also enjoyed cooking together and chatting about our cultural difference during the cooking lesson. And I am grateful that you suggested a nice advice for improving my cooking lesson.
Every encounter becomes unforgettable for me. Please keep traveling safe and hopefully come back to my kitchen someday (^0^)/ !!!
Yoshiko

I loved taking cooking classes in every country I visit and on my recent trip to Japan I had the pleasure of finding this gem of a cooking class. Yoshiko was just a truly awesome and nice lady who made me feel so welcome in her home.
I learned so much in such a short period of time and the food she thought me was so easy to make and so good. Not to mention learning how to make it so presentable.
IF you are thinking of taking a cooking lesson while in Japan, I highly recommend her. Her methods are simple but effective.
She picks you up at the station and takes you to her home. SO easy. If I am back in Japan I will definitely be back to take her class again.
A MUST DO in Osaka!!!!

We were looking for a cooking class in Japan that taught me and my girlfriend more about the real local dishes and culture and found Yoshiko through TripAdvisor. It was a really great experience. She picked us up for the train station and were welcomed in her house. At the end, the table was filled with the best food and we really had a great afternoon with her. Thanks again Yoshiko!

My fiance and I enjoyed this cooking class immensely. It was just the two of us and so Yoshiko was able to give one-on-one instruction. She printed out the recipes, explained the different ingredients, and together we made a wonderful variety of dishes. Compared to other classes we did in Japan, this was outstanding. My only regret is that I forgot to give her the present we had brought from England. She is welcome to visit us and collect it any time!
